Barbara had asked my mother in law about a cookbook I had suggested on Tara's blog. It is the Essential Mormon Cookbook by Julie Badger Jensen. You can find it at Deseret Book and it is fabulous! It has every random yummy recipe, and its super easy to follow. She also has another cookbook called Mormon Celebrations Cookbook. I would totally suggest them to anyone!

10 Months Old

Logan is already 10 months old! He is such an active, busy, but sweet little guy. At almost 26 pounds I almost wish he was walking so I wouldn't have to carry him so much, but Im sure it will come soon enough. Heres some of what he does...
He army crawls (he CAN crawl, but usually his arms buckle under the weight!)
He likes to feed himself
He loves to have conversations (I saw wawawa and he says it back, he also loves mamamama)
He loves to sing along to things
Bath time is still his favorite
He and Nellie have started playing together more, they love tug of war
He loves being out in his stroller for walks. He really loves to be outside
He can get down our hallway and try to dive down the stairs in like 2 seconds!
He loves to eat shoes and pull hair
He loves technology (I hope he doesn't end up like the guy from Napoleon Dynomite), He is obsessed with phones, computers, and remote controls.
He LOVES his Daddy, and cant calm down if he is anywhere near. Logan loves how rough Dan plays.
He loves to jump (with Moms help or in his excersaucer)
He can pull himself up (even in the bathtub which makes me a nervous wreck)

at the petting zoo with my parents, Emma, and Sophie (we tried to keep them busy while Mandy had Owen). He had NO fear. He just stuck his fingers through the fence to pet them! One of the goats kissed his face, but I think its on my moms camera.Meeting little Owen at the hospital. He wasn't too sure about his Mom loving another little guy.and a picnic in our park with the girls.

New Pictures

I cant download pictures from my camera to my computer right now, but I have a few emailed from my phone to share. So much has been going on, he is such a sweetheart! He will be 10 months old next week already, so I will post more about what hes doing then. He is such a flirt!and so handsome!Logan loves his Aunt Tara. This is them with Ickabod (My brother in laws girlfriends baby... does that make sense?)
And, Mandy finally had her baby! He is a sweet little (TINY) boy named Owen Christian Fairbanks.

Happy Birthday Miss Muggins!

March 11 is our little Nellie girls 4th birthday! I can't believe she has been with us 4years already. When Dan brought home a puppy for me to keep me company while he traveled, I immediatly fell in love. Nellie has always been very sweet and social for a chihuahua. We thought she would get to about 6 pounds, but has kept her girlish figure at a weight of only 3 1/2 pounds! Dans family always calls her a barbie dog, she has the LONGEST legs with a skinny little body. My family thinks she looks like a soda can on spatula legs! Here are 4 things I love about Nellie;
1. She loves Dan, and always has. They are special buddies, she even prefers to sleep with him over me. He gave her the nickname of Miss Nellie Muggins (I think after cotton headed nilly muggins on the movie Elf).
2. She tries so hard to be nice to Logan. Even when Logan is mauling her, she tries. Logan will usually sit in his highchair and throw Cherios down to her waiting. I think it helps Nellie like him a little. Nellie also really likes stealing Logans toys!
3. Nellie seems to know when somebody is sick. Even when I was pregnant and feeling yucky, she would come cuddle me. She will cuddle anyone for 20 hours straight if they are sick and need her!
4. you couldn't bribe Nellers to run away. A few times I have left her in the yard on accident, she will just sit by the front door and wait for you to find her. She has rarely been on a leash outside of the airport (she LOVES to travel and go on the airplane). She loves to go on walks and run around

I can't imagine being without our little Nellie girl!

Mean Mom!

So, Logan has a mean mom! My nails were a little too long and when he threw up on the ground I rushed to wipe it up before he played in it. My nail caught him right next to the eye, I feel so bad. Logan just looked at me like I hurt his feelings (it probably didn't help I put him down to take pictures). I immediatly filed my nails!
