Splash!

We have had a fun few weeks, enjoying our summer as much as possible! On Tuesday we went to a splash park with some friends, I thought for sure Logan would hate it. I was wrong. Logan loved to crawl after the spraying water, he just got mad when it sprayed him in the face!(He was playing with friends at one point, I just didn't get any pictures of them!)not so sure about the water in his face
and now screaming!

We have a huge farm behind our house. They don't plow it very often, but when they do you can't rip Logan away from the door. He LOVES big tucks and tractors, pretty much anything that is noisy!(you can see the tractor in the back ground)

And lastly, we have hit 14 months with STILL NO WALKING!!! He has every ability to do it, he just simply doesn't want to! Im really hoping by the time he is 5 he can walk!

Corn on the Cobb

We went to Dans parents house for dinner last night and Logan tried corn on the cobb for the first time... he LOVED it! At one point I tried to help him get the last of the corn and he got so mad that I had taken it out of his hand!

Help A Girl Out!!!

So my cousin Mickelle (who does all my super fabulous family pictures) is trying to win a contest for a photography workshop. She has to have as many people add a link for his website to their blogs. Please help her out, she is so nice to take such great pictures for me! Just leave me a comment if you put the link on (even if its just for a month) so I can tell her and she can count you! You can visit her blog listed on my scroll, Thanks!

Eating Trash

Last week I cleaned out the fridge, which included some homemade frosting. Logan watched what I was doing, and the second I turned around to check on our cooking dinner Logan got into the trash and ate chocolate frosting straight from the trash! I swear I turned around for 10 seconds, and I never heard him even open the trash. He is stealth!!!Other than cleaning out the fridge we haven't been too busy. We are trying to stay cool, swimming lots!Logans soon to be cousin Ichabod(when Dans brother gets married to Ichabods mom) came over to swim the other day so we set up the big pool. My pictures with him are on my other computer, maybe I will add them later!I hope everyone else is having a fun summer, check back for more updates to come!

Family Pictures

My cousin Mickelle takes the most beautiful pictures! She took our family pictures a few weeks ago, and I can't believe how cute they turned out. All I told her is I wanted them to be really bright and colorful. She totally understood what I wanted, plus she was so patient with Logan! Here are a few, but if you are a facebook friend you can see the rest there where she uploaded them for me to see.

New Park

Today Dan was home so we decided to take a drive and have a picnic. We picked up subway and had planned to go up American Fork canyon. We got to Highland and I decided I didn't want to take that long of a drive. Dan decided to drive a different way home when we happened upon the most amazing park! We immediately decided to stop and have our picnic there. This park was like a bunch of old wooden forts, and they even had baby swings (Logan's very favorite!).(It's kind of hard to see them, but Logan and Dan are inside the fort)
we will totally remember where this park is and go back soon. Maybe one day Logan will actually start walking and it would be a little more fun for him! (can you tell I'm ready for him to walk?!!!)

4th of July

Dan had to work so Logan and I spent the 4th with my family in California. We had a super fun bbq at my aunts house, then went to the park we always do for fireworks. The 4th of July is my favorite holiday, and the last few have been really uneventful with last summer having a tiny baby and the summer before staying in Arizona alone packing to move!(there were better pictures of all of us, but I love how Matthew is looking at Logan!)Logan really enjoyed the fireworks... for about 30 seconds! We had such a fun day, hopefully we can spend time next July in California again!
