The Anderson Win!!!

Just a quick note, we found out today the sex of the baby...
WE ARE HAVING A BOY!!!
I will post more later about that and Dan and I having our 5th anniversary when I get a second!

We took pictures a few weeks ago with the Andersons. If we all look like we are freezing, its because we were!!! Here is the whole family- notice im hiding in back because Im not to the point I really look pregnant- I look chubby! Here are Dan and his brothers and brother in laws. What cute boys!

Another picture of the Andersons. I think Isaiah thinks Im his girlfriend, he is sitting here with me. On Sunday he wouldnt let Dan put his arm around me, then Isaiah sat on a pillow on the couch really close to me and put his arm around me... he also had to sit between us at dinner!

Rough Weekend

I only have a second to type, Im at work. Here is a little update of whats going on...
I got in a car accident on friday night (big surprise, my fault!)
I slipped on ice going to church on sunday
I had stomach cramping after both of those (Baby is okay!)
I was REALLY scared! (I think the stress made it worse!)
I really miss my nice car with auto start and seat heaters!

Good News:
I went to the doctor yesterday and everything is fine. We get to go have an ultrasound on Tuesday December 18th to find out what it is!!! Less than 2 weeks to go! Sorry to Mom and Mandy for scaring them when I called them on Sunday in pain!

ps- anyone who wants to vote on what we are having just leave a comment! Right now it is the Kershaws against the Andersons (majority of Kershaws said girl, majority of Andersons said boy).

Things Change

I have been told I never update my blog! Things have been crazy lately, Thanksgiving was wonderful and so nice to see my family. Everything is changing faster than I thought it would... I cant zip up a single pair of pants anymore!!! Im still down about 10 pounds and have not started gaining (that parts good!). The biggest change is my appetite. Im finally hungry after being so sick, but all I want is spicy food. Today for lunch I made a quesadilla with fresh spicy salsa, green chiles, and jalepenos in it! I cant get enough jalepenos right now, and I really dont like sweets very much. I hope all of you are doing good! Enjoy the season!
ps- I have a Doctors appointment on Tuesday... I hope we get to find out what we are having!!!

Stage Fright

Im sorry I havent posted in a while... my life seriously consists of going to work, coming home, eating dinner, going to bed! I have been so tired and sick that I havent really done much at all. Last weekend I made it down to my parents house for a short visit, it was wonderful! I took a long afternoon nap, and went to my favorite resturaunt Hibachis! Whitney, Ryan, Aunt Marcia, and Mackenzie all made it to dinner with us, it was so nice to visit with everyone. We were supposed to come back in time to go see my cousin Marty bless his baby but we slept in and went to church with my parents.

Now to the stage fright part: I have a serious problem with going to the bathroom on demand, such as in a doctors office. This morning I went to my 12 week appointment at the doctors. I loaded up on water this morning to help so I had to go really bad! When the Doctor came in to find the heartbeat I about died when he pushed on my stomach! My bladder was so full he couldnt find a heartbeat so he had me leave and go to the bathroom. When I got back he said he decided to use the ultrasound machine to find the baby, then look there for the heartbeat (he found both). It was so exciting to see my baby for the first time (and I double checked with the doctor... there is only one baby in there!). Dan is out flying and so dissapointed he didnt get to come, I promised I will work it out with his schedule next month. Everything looks good and healthy, and on track!

Whit is coming to town next week, she will only be here days I work but hopefully I can see her a few times. I cant wait!

But Baby its Cold Outside

We are FREEZING already! Im really glad we moved here, but im sure missing that Phoenix weather about now. We have already had snow a few times this year but last night it really snowed (you know this if you were at the BYU game!). We had snow that "stuck" for the first time of the year... Nellie was not happy about the going out in it to go potty thing! I put my blanket in the wash last night and when I got it out of the dryer Nellie curled up in it and growled when anyone came near it... i think she was afraid someone would take it away! The other night Dan and I were in bed watching Transformers (missing Greys Anatomy!), which I very surprisingly loved! Nellie crawled in between us and got under the covers with her head on the pillow like she wanted to spoon! We are pretty sure she thinks she is my baby and Dans family thinks she is going to flip her lid when the "real" baby comes! I told them she will go through the same adjustment any "big sister" does! Its probably good we are having a baby now so people dont start talking about me as that crazy dog lady... hopefully they dont already!
Today Nellie is protesting wearing a sweater, but its so cold! She loves to lay in the sun and bake, she follows the sun on the floor as it moves. Its really funny, here she is laying in the sun with her spider (latest fav toy) and also hiding a pen cap she stole to chew on.
I hope everyone is doing well. Im going to post more this week for Lindseys Birthday on Tuesday, and Dans birthday on Saturday. Lots of love!
p.s. Mandy- I miss my nieces... maybe I can make it down there soon, Ive just been tired!

Telling The Andersons

We told Dans family a week or so before we told my family that we were having a baby... mostly because they knew/guessed and see me all the time. We decided to make t-shirts that say "Aunt Chelsea says... our first Anderson cousin is coming!". They were so cute and so excited to tell everyone for us. We had them put the shirts on and come up for sunday dinner... it was really fun!
