The most amazing sleeping baby

this week i have discovered my baby is absolutly amazing! he has gone around 6 hours (even 7 last night) between feedings 4 nights in a row... hopefully it keeps up! i feel so great and rested. i think being on a better schedule now that the weddings are over has really helped! p.s. isnt his bedding so cute? i should put a picture of his nursery up sometime

lindsey and matthews wedding

lindsey and matthew were married on june 20th (im catching up), exactly 4 weeks after logan was born. their wedding was so amazing. they were blessed to be sealed by elder holland, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. it was really neat to be in the temple with my whole family for the first time. we are so glad matthew is finally part of our family, we love him and adore his family! his entire family is gorgous... lindsey and matthew will (one day) have the most beautiful children! i didnt feel back in shape as much as i had hoped, but a great new outfit really helped (thanks mom!). as of her wedding day i only have 3 more pounds to lose before i weigh what i did when i got pregnant (but im such a different shape, i feel bigger!). next up we will be flying to california for almost 2 weeks! i cant wait!

best baby ever

hopefully i wont jinx myself by saying this but i have the best baby ever. he is so calm and rarely cries. he eats and sleeps good. i totally think labor, delivery, recovery, and getting used to a baby is 100 times easier than being pregnant! here are a few pictures to update you, i will try to write more when i have time

after a long 5 1/2 years of being a married couple, we are finally a family of three!

my mom was nice enough to post pictures on my blog while i was still in the hospital, i cant believe it has taken me almost a week to post my own! we were supposed to be induced on may 15th but the hospital is new and could not fit me in until may 23! (other than the waiting) everything went really well! i was only in labor for about 5 hours and delivery was a breeze. im really lucky everything went so well, and we have such an easy baby! he sleeps and eats really well. we are tired, but getting more sleep than we expected to.

my aunt marcia and uncle dick happened to be in salt lake for the weekend and were able to come spend a few hours with us on saturday at the hospital. it was so nice to have them come! dans sister and her husband are in hawaii and havent seen him, (i cant wait for them to get home) but pretty much everyone else has made it over to see him (ryan came while he was here on business, whit is patiently waiting to come)! emma has loved having a cousin and told mandy something along the lines of he is cute, even though he is a boy. she loves to hold him and give him kisses. sophie is good with him as long as mandy doesnt hold him! dans nieves and nephew havent seen him yet because they have been sick!

after 3 years of being an only child nellie is doing okay for the most part. she mostly just ignores him!

we brought him home sunday and my whole family (except whitney and ryan) came over for dinner, and it was nice to just have everyone around. other than that, we have just been hanging around the house. we have had to take him everyday for bloodwork for jaundice (he is on the lights at home) and we had him circumcised on wednesday (poor guy)! Tonight will be my first night alone with him, dan has a trip but gets back tomorrow night.

HE'S HERE!!!

Just a few pictures of the baby- it went great and everything looks good. He was born at 4:52 yesterday afternoon and weighs in at 8 lbs 1 oz and is 20 inches long.
